As I prepare to recount my trio of Christmas Day dessert (I know... old news), I thought we'd revisit my first Apple Pie. I actually wrote a rather long piece describing it that apparently has inspired my old writing professor to start hoarding apple pie recipes (and make a trip to the homeland, "CHICAGO," to find more recipes). Maybe i'll post the piece at some time... though it is a little personal. But hey, with my New And Improved Blog Format (see what I did there?) of embracing my inner blog heart, maybe personal will fit right in.
